This research seminar on the resistance of Palestinian women under occupation takes place under the umbrella of the research project on International Cooperation for Development, Human Rights of Palestinian Women: Stories of Resilience in Times of COVID-19, funded by the Andalusian Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AACID) and led by the Faculty of Communication of the University of Malaga.<\/p>\n

The project aims to generate a critical discourse on innovative solutions to the human rights violations suffered by the Palestinian population through the analysis of Palestinian women's life stories. In addition, it aims to involve Palestinian civil society organisations and university specialists, promoting a cross-cutting, interdisciplinary and multi-institutional approach in the search for alternative solutions and anti-colonial proposals.<\/p>\n

The aim of this seminar is to generate a transversal line of work with a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional approach to the subject, in which researchers from different universities, members of civil society and information professionals can participate, as well as to strengthen academic synergies between the University of Malaga and other public higher education institutions in Spain, as well as university outreach with other groups and associations.<\/p>\n

The Research Seminar on Palestine \"Anti-colonial resistance, women and narratives\" will take place on 2 and 3 October in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Communication at the University of Malaga, with the participation of Palestinian women researchers and activists.<\/p>\n

Admission is free until full capacity is reached.<\/p>\n
